Cracked Column: The 5 Unexpected Downsides Of Working At A Movie Theatre

About 5 years ago, I worked at a movie theater. I didn’t stay there for very long, but it became my Vietnam. It sounds ludicrous, I know. How could I leave a job working concessions at a movie theater in the hopes of eventually becoming a comedy writer on the internet? I feel like it may have been destiny, or possibly common sense.

And I still sort of hate the smell of popcorn.

    • I still like The Dark Knight, but people who aren’t in The Dark Knight quoting The Dark Knight? As Pitbull says in track 12 of his latest album: “I’m off that.”
